It has a gold exterior and a silver interior and edge. On the top of the cap near the outside rim is a stacking feature, which makes it easy to stack additional jars on top. Inside the top of the cap is a non-removable ring of plastisol designed to handle hot-fill processes with ease. After the plastisol liner is warmed by the product temperature, a vacuum, forms creating an airtight, hermetic seal. This gold cap is designed to fit on a jar with an 83-400 C/T neck finish, but it is recommended to be tested with your filling process for compatibility.
