What’s the most commonly known canning jar out there, you ask? That’s an easy one, Mason Jars. Besides being famous and well known, they are used for an endless list of different products. The original and intended use was for preserving foods and the wide opening and thick wall make this easier.
The metal plastisol lined 70G (70-450) lids that go on the mason jars, are designed to seal when hot-filling, but they will only seal the jar once. If you're doing a water bath canning at high temperatures, your best bet is to use our Hi-Heat Lid.
Use our Glass canning Jars for your own homemade jams and jellies (psst! Go with raspberry!) or use them for your candles and pair it with an unlined metal antique finish cap.
