Stock number 4JAR1731TP-T is a 17 oz Clear PET Peanut Butter Jar. It features a 70-470 continuous thread neck finish and is the next size after our 12 oz in the plastic peanut butter jar style. It is made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic, which is known for its clarity as well as its durability. The straight walls and round shape make it easy to label. The slightly raised bump towards the base and shoulder gives it a defined label panel. The wide 70 mm opening is perfect for products that need to be scooped such as peanut butter or other nut butter. Towards the bottom of the jar, it tapers down to a base that is just as wide as the opening. This 17 oz plastic jar is compatible with a closure that is a 70-470 finish and can be paired with any of the matching caps found below. Use a heat induction seal cap for a tamper-evident finish.
