58-400 Gold Metal Plastisol Lined Caps

Stock number 3CPLG0583PW is a continuous thread 58-400 Gold Metal Cap. This metal cap is made out of tin plate steel. It has a smooth top with ribbed sides for easy application or removal. The exterior, interior, and edge all have a gold finish. On the top of the cap near the outside rim is a stacking feature, making it easy to stack jars on top. Inside the top of the cap is a non-removable ring of plastisol designed to handle hot-fill processes with ease. After the plastisol liner is warmed by the product temperature, a vacuum forms creating an airtight, hermetic seal. This gold cap is designed to fit on a bottle with a 58-400 C/T neck finish but is recommended to be tested with your filling process for compatibility.
